Unlimited Success
Expectation is the
mother of manifestation. There is no
substitute for hard work in the school of success. You must resolve within
yourself that in your quest for
financial success , you cannot get
something without paying a price.
The world only moves for the man who moves himself.
It is your action that counts. It is good to dream of financial success but you
must know when to snap out of those dreams and turn them to reality.
Since God’s promise is
that what we lay our hands on will prosper, then we must ensure that our hands
are truly laid on something. If god worked for six days and rested on the
seventh for creation to be, we should not expect any success if our input is
one day of work and six days of rest.
There is no amount of
prayer that can substitute for work. We get returns in proportion of the value
we add to life. This value is released through work. We have the potential for
work in us. We have creativity waiting to find expression in us. We must
release this potential through work.
We must be action
oriented. Being an executive is not a function of being dressed in suit and tie
and carrying a briefcase around. Being an executive is about executing plans. It
is being a person of action.
Do not sit down and
wait for things to work out themselves. The more you leave your problems the
worse they become. Take action. Do not sing “standing on the promises” when all you do is sitting on the
premises.
Apply for that job, take those forms rent that shop.
Make your move now. You develop your skills through hard work. No one is ready
to pay for your skills in their raw form. You must refine them to international
standards through hard work. Give your gifts some commercial value.
There are many people
who are gifted and are frustrated and poor because they are not willing to pay
the price for success. Success is a prize with a price. Doing no work is the
hardest type of work to do. Unfortunately it yields no returns.
Don’t wait for ideal
situations. If you wait for perfect conditions you may not get anything done. God
has promised to bless what you lay your hands upon so lay your hands on
something worthwhile. Remember that the difference between ordinary and extra
ordinary is the extra. Develop your skills to world class standards.
